In 2024, Leopard Capital acquired Leeds Bradford Airport Industrial Estate for £25 million. The estate extends to over 60 acres and comprises a substantial single multi-let industrial building divided into 15 units, ranging from 25,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft. The average rent passing was £2.39 per sq ft at the time of purchase.
Originally constructed by the Avro Aircraft Company, the property later served as a “shadow factory” during the Second World War and was one of the largest aircraft production facilities in Europe, giving the estate significant historical provenance.
Since acquisition, Leopard has implemented a programme of targeted asset management initiatives and capital improvements to enhance rental levels and drive value.
